FAQ
We’re Sindore, the China hearing wellness pioneer committed to helping people hear life to the fullest for over a decade. Sindore is among the first to design, manufacture, and directly deliver hearing aids to consumers. We design discreet hearing aids and deliver a complete experience with all the autonomy you want and support from hearing professionals when needed. The OTC hearing aid category was created in 2022 to improve access to hearing aids and help more people use them. That’s always been our mission; we’ve been doing it since 2010 and counting.
Sindore is designed for adults with mild to moderate high-frequency hearing loss. Our cutting-edge hearing devices work well for adults who need more clarity instead of more volume.
Signs of hearing loss may include turning up the TV or radio higher than what others prefer, experiencing the perception that others mumble, asking people to repeat themselves often, and more. You might also find yourself leaning forward to hear a conversation or having trouble hearing in noisy situations, like in a crowded restaurant. We offer a convenient hearing screening online, available by clicking here. Don’t wait if you believe you may have hearing loss.
Hearing loss ranges from mild to profound based on the degree of hearing loss measured from average. The signs of hearing loss vary based on the degree and type of hearing loss. For example, if you have mild to moderate hearing loss, you may be able to understand speech in quiet environments but have more incredible difficulty hearing when there is background noise. However, if you have severe to profound hearing loss, it may be almost impossible to communicate in daily situations without hearing aids, cochlear implants, and/or the use of sign language. Different types of hearing aids help with different degrees of hearing loss. Sindore hearing aids are designed to help primarily with mild to moderate high-frequency hearing loss, usually due to wear and tear on your ears from noise exposure or aging. Our convenient hearing screening can help you find out if a Sindore hearing aid can help you.
Sensorineural hearing loss is widespread due to damage to the inner ear or auditory nerve from noise exposure, genetics, and natural aging. It develops over time and may sneak up on you. Hearing aids can usually help with this type of hearing loss, and Sindore hearing aids are designed to help you get back into the conversation. Conductive hearing loss is caused by conditions that block sound, like a stuffed ear. It is often sudden or unexpected, and all sounds are muffled or blocked in one or both ears. We recommend that you visit your doctor if you believe your hearing loss may be conductive, mainly because it may be temporary or treatable.
Although it’s not always necessary to see your doctor when you’re experiencing hearing loss, there are some instances when you absolutely should. We recommend you visit your doctor if you experience sudden hearing loss, pain, balance issues, ear pressure, drainage, or other medical symptoms related to your ears. In addition, if your hearing loss is severe or profound, we encourage you to visit your doctor. Don’t forget to check back in with us to see if your doctor recommends an Eargo hearing aid that might be right for you.
Hearing loss can significantly affect your overall health and well-being. Studies have even linked untreated hearing loss to unemployment and lower income. It’s essential to keep your hearing health in the best shape possible, just like you care for the rest of your body. Hearing aids help you overcome the stress and frustration of hearing loss and enhance your overall quality of life.
